‘Tour de France: Unchained’ Will Turn You into a Cycling Fan
The new Netflix series is road cycling’s best opportunity in decades to expand its audience

Yeah I'm not interested in the slightest, although Netflix have tried their best to alert me about the release.

I watched it. It is actually fantastic (in my opinion). One of the best things I have watched in a long, long time.

I don't get it, those are two very different things. I've bicycled ever since I learned it, too. And I still like it. Do I also like professional bicycling as a spectator sport with all the ridiculous doping and drama? Hell no.

The only thing I liked about watching the Tour de France back when I was young was the stunningly beautiful French countryside. But as I've traveled there myself many times since, watching it as a background of a bicycle race has completely lost its appeal for me.
