Just like in the 'gluten thread', you're pretending (or seem to be pretending) to be seriously interested, but part of your response signals you're not. I highlighted that part for your convenience.Chad Sexington wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 7:13 amAre you referring to the “flak” Rozzie received after snapping at, and abusing a poster who asked a harmless question about her cookies? ffsKammekor wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 8:31 pmI suppose you're referring to @rozzieoz. Ever met het her irl? Just wondered if you referred to her online personality or her in person.SlowJoe wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 6:55 pm
Relationships are complicated, and that's why I only commented (besides the stalking part which is easy to verify) that you can heal from a bad past situation and not hold a grudge against all other members of a certain sex, race, etc. That was the main point.
To be honest I think the flak she received in this thread and in the gluten free thread was way over the top, and her comment on this forum being male dominated was spot on.
If I recall well @rozzieoz did the same in the gluten thread, after which you conveniently ignored her comment about it during the rest of the discussion. Maybe the statement below applies to you too?
You're not trying to abuse me verbally, are you?

That's really weird, has anything else changed in your diet? How great for you though!SlowJoe wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 2:38 pm
Also, this may sound absurd, but I used to have issues digesting wheat products and dairy, but since the last 2-3 months those issues have largely gone away. I drank a whole bottle of milk last night, whereas normally two or three soup spoonfuls would give me a stomachache.
Anecdotal, but I thought worth mentioning.

Oh cool, why wasn't that story in the news? Sounds like a big event!rozzieoz wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 4:01 pm How should she have dealt with this situation?
Just curious on people's opinions.
I completely understand the level of frustration. I once smashed a brand new iPad on a bar counter top because my asshole ex wouldn't give me the code to unlock it. I got the iPad in the split (since I paid for it) but what the c87t did was lock it, so I couldn't use it. I spent a year paying people to unlock it, sent him emails trying to negotiate for him to give me the code and eventually just walked into the lady bar he was managing at the time. I literally begged him for the code and he refused to give it to me, and threatened to call the police on me when I started crying (from pure frustration).
So I smashed the iPad a couple of times on the bar until sparks flew out of it and then threw it at him and told him to keep the fucking thing.
You just feel furious and powerless and do stupid things in that moment. Luckily I was only armed with an iPad.

There is a link between high stress and gluten sensitivity and being in stressful relationship could trigger gluten sensitivity. However whether this condition reduces with reduced stress needs investigation. Quite a bit of literature around stress and celiac disease leading to gluten intolerance.rozzieoz wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 10:02 amThat's really weird, has anything else changed in your diet? This makes a lot of sense actually. I have been trying to work out why and when it started, I’m going to do some reading.Kuroneko wrote:There is a link between high stress and gluten sensitivity and being in stressful relationship could trigger gluten sensitivity. I've also become a "natural vegetarian", meaning I just stopped eating meat because I didn't crave it anymore and no other reason. No animal rights issues, religious, etc...I just didn't want meat and started craving fresh veg. Before that I was a huge red meat and fish eater.rozzieoz wrote: ↑Sun Jul 31, 2022 10:02 amThat's really weird, has anything else changed in your diet? Also misc herbs have begun to taste "better" for lack of good wording. It's like my taste buds were always stuffed up or something and now they're clear. I don't know how to describe it, but it's a lot like after getting over a head cold and suddenly you can taste things again, except it's permanent.

When you’re not moaning about your ‘ex’ or as you so often refer to him as ‘the cunt’ .
