Cambodian News (USA) A Khmer-American named Charles brought the Cambodian dish known as the "Amok" to the MasterChef United Tastes Of America competition program. The dish succeeded in impressing the judges.

Charles was a hairdresser in America, but as a child he dreamed of becoming a chef, so he decided to join the Masterchef United Tastes Of America competition.

During the tasting of the "Amok", even the famous chef Gordon Ramsey praised his work and talked about Cambodia. After a tasting test from the four-member committee, Charles got the nod to say that he had passed the mixed challenge stage and will now advance to the next round.
