How ‘begpackers’ became some of Asia’s most disliked travelers

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

And he purposefully mentions it's their first child. We could be looking forward to more, if it pays off at least.

Like people who can't afford to have babies, so start begging via gofundme. Dear Ukrainians living in Kampot, if you can't afford to have a child, please use birth control 🤦🏽‍♂️ (sorry, a little off topic - not exactly begpacking related)

You'll be pleased to know that both wallets are empty and have had nothing sent to them. I was hoping they had got sloppy and there would be a trail to their real wallets! These are just wallets set up for the big scrounge.

He's not a refugee, he is of fighting age and would be welcomed back to Ukraine. The Americans used to have a name for people like him. They usually went to Canada (or became Rhodes Scholars or Mormon missionaries etc) ...

Where are they planning on going for the birth? The fucking Royal Hospital? I don't even think it costs anything like that there.

Personally, I don't have a problem with American draft dodgers who didn't want to go to Vietnam, for whatever real or made-up reason. It was just wrong to send them there and to interfere with Vietnam's affairs, and it should have been illegal to force anyone to go.

My view on able-bodied Ukrainians of fighting age who choose to refuse to defend their homeland against the Russian aggression and claim refugee status abroad is quite a bit different. Let's just say I'll give this GoFundMe campaign a pass.
