The Council for the Development of Cambodia has decided to issue investment project registration certificates to three companies for an investment of $ 17.6 million.

Phnom Penh: The Investment Committee of Cambodia of the Council for the Development of Cambodia has decided to issue the investment project registration certificate to the following companies:

1- “PENGJIAO (CAMBODIA) INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD” Project to establish a garment factory located in Samrong village, Sophy commune, Bati district, Takeo province with an investment of approximately 7 million US dollars and can create 3,258 jobs. .

2- “ZHONG SHAN TENG FEI (CAMBODIA) PACKAGING MATERIAL CO., LTD” Project to establish a packaging factory located in Tuol Sambo village, Damnak Reang commune, Udong district, Kampong Speu province with an investment capital of approximately US $ 5.5 million and Create 1,076 jobs.

3- “SSH CB SUSTAINABLE FASHION CO., LTD” Project to establish a garment factory located in Prey Sala village, Roleang Kreul commune, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province with an investment capital of approximately 5.1 million US dollars.

Three More Investment Projects worth Over US$16 Million Approved
AKP Phnom Penh, March 20, 2023 --

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved three new investment projects with a total capital of US$16.2 million.

The new projects belong to Dazhengxuan (Cambodia) Industrial Co., Ltd., Xin Yuan Cheng Factory Co., Ltd., and Xu Wei Garment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., the CDC said in a press release issued this afternoon.

The three companies will invest in the manufacturing of umbrellas, raincoats, curtains, table towels, … shoe accessories, and clothes in Phnom Penn capital and Kandal province, it pointed out.

More than 3,000 jobs are expected to be generated for the locals by the three newly approved projects, the press release added.

A New Investment Project worth Over US$5 Million Approved
Phnom Penh, March 28, 2023 --
The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved a new investment project with a total capital of US$5.3 million.

The new project belongs to JKD Packaging Co., Ltd. and is located in Sangkat Kok Roka, Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh capital, said the CDC in its press release issued on Mar. 27.

The company will invest in the manufacturing of cardboard boxes and packaging materials, the same source pointed out.
Some 300 jobs are expected to be generated for the locals by the newly approved project, the press release added.

Two New Investment Projects worth Over US$10 Million Approved
AKP Phnom Penh, April 24, 2023 --
The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved two new investment projects with a total capital of US$10.4 million.

The new projects belong to Fitly Apparel Co., Ltd., and WH Packaging Co., Ltd., and are located in Sangkat Choam Chao of Phnom Penh capital and in Mok Kampoul district of Kandal province, respectively, said the CDC in its press release issued this afternoon.

The first company will invest US$5.3 million in creating a garment factory, while the second will inject US$5.1 million in the manufacturing of packaging materials, it added.

Almost 3,000 jobs are expected to be generated for the locals by the two newly approved projects, said the press release.

Two More Investment Projects worth Over US$ 11 Million Approved
AKP Phnom Penh, May 19, 2023 --
The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved two new investment projects with a total capital of US$11.4 million.

The new projects belong to Genmei Industrial (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. and Tai Fong Shoes (Cambodia) Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the CDC said in a press release issued on Thursday.

The first company will invest US$5.8 million while the second will inject US$5.6 million in the creation of garment and shoes factories, respectively in Kampong Speu province, the source pointed out.

Some 5,700 jobs are expected to be generated for the locals by the two newly approved projects, added the press release.

CDC Approves Three New Investment Projects worth Over US$23 Million

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given green light to three new investment projects with a total capital of US$23.2 million.

The new projects belong to Le Hoo (Cambodia) Furniture Company Limited, Xinkaida Lighting Co., Ltd., and Guangbo (Cambodia) Industrial Co., Ltd., the CDC said in a press release issued this afternoon.

The three companies will invest in the manufacturing of all kinds of furniture, electrical wire and equipment, decorative lamps, and decorative lighting components in special economic zones in Svay Rieng province, it pointed out.

Almost 2,000 jobs are expected to be generated for the locals by the three newly approved projects, the source added.

US$16 Million Investment Projects Approved by CDC
AKP Phnom Penh, June 09, 2023 --
The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) have approved three more investment projects worth in total US$16 million, said the council’s press release issued this morning.

The newly-approved projects are expected to generate some 3,500 jobs for the locals, the source pointed out.
The three new projects are invested by three different companies in two special economic zones in Svay Rieng province, it added.

According to the press release, Qingdao Zhongmian (Cambodia) Knitting Co., Ltd. will inject US$6.8 million in the creation of a garment and knitting factory while Huiyao Yaoxing Plastic Packaging Products (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. will invest US$5.7 million, and Dong Wang Paper Industry (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. US$3.5 million to produce bags, cardboard boxes and packaging materials.

Nine New Investment Projects Generating Nearly 14,000 Jobs Approved
AKP Phnom Penh, June 27, 2023 --

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has announced the approval of nine new investment projects creating a total of 13,849 job opportunities for the locals.

According to a CDC’s press release issued yesterday, the newly approved projects worth in total US$54.8 million are located in the provinces of Kampong Speu, Takeo, Svay Rieng and Kandal, and Phnom Penh capital.

Under the new projects, the same source said, factories of kitchen utensils, light bulbs, bags, shoes, clothing and molding and packaging papers will be established.

In addition, the CDC added, special economic zones (SEZs) in Svay Rieng province have attracted a bicycle et e-bike factory project and an electrical appliance manufacturing project.

Last week, the CDC’s SEZ Board granted green light to six more investment projects with a total capital of US$163.5 million in Phnom Penh and the provinces of Kratie, Svay Rieng and Preah Sihanouk, generating more than 3,000 new jobs and covering the manufacture of car tires, metal and plastic jewelry and accessories, light bulbs, glue, paints, inks, and so on.

CDC Approves Five New Investment Projects in Three Provinces
AKP Phnom Penh, July 10, 2023 --
The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved five new investment projects in the provinces of Kampong Speu, Takeo, and Kandal.

The CDC’s news release made public this afternoon showed that with a total investment capital of US$50.7 million, the five newly approved projects belong to Taral International Co., Ltd., Super Knitting (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., United Creation Optical (Cambodia) Company Limited, SSCA Garment Co., Ltd., and Foton Packaging Product Co., Ltd.

Under the five investment projects, garment, footwear, eyewear and bag factories will be created, the CDC pointed out.

They will generate a total of almost 14,000 jobs for the locals, added the news release.
