Plans are in place to build a village in the Moscow region for conservative Americans and Canadians, according to a Russian state media outlet.The Kremlin-backed RIA Novosti news agency on Thursday reported on the community that caters to expatriates with "traditional" values, writing that construction is expected to begin next year.

While Russia is at odds with the U.S. government, especially in regards to the war in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin has taken up causes favored by many Western conservatives. He has signed legislation that restricts LGBTQ+ rights, and he enjoyed a closer relationship with former President Donald Trump than with Trump's Democratic successor to the White House.

Russian state-operated media outlets also give Trump favorable coverage and often air clips from right-wing pundits critical of the war in Ukraine, including former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Mother Russia has a long and glorious history of ghettoes and pogroms. Easier to distinguish races and ethnicities Much more difficult to distinguish political thoughts among foreigners who come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. Easier to force them to live in a ghettos. Even easier to force them to wear armbands for armbands. For liquidation of future enemies of the state, of course.

Housing is real expensive over there. If russia builds it they could keep rent real cheap.
The renamed McDonalds, that would be fine. Maybe bring back 10 cent hamburgers.
It would be a "Think Tank" for invited guests. A fun place that reminds you of the best of America.

That is a fake conservative Moscow. It’s a college town, so more liberal. Got it’s name from either the Moscau natives living in the area, or possibly a Russian immigrant who set up a trading post.

You cannot give a definition of what a woman is...
JFK would be a conservative NOW ...
I do not like labels..all you do is label people.
I am very liberal in some things and conservative in others. I do no want to change anyone....
I suggest most of you do not want to live in Idaho.
But, check out the parts of Oregon that are working to become Idaho....they live there and want change their lands to Idaho..
Let Russia do what they want.

I'd be concerned about the meat in those 10 cent hamburgers, given that the "meat grinder" has been in overdrive for the past year-plus....
