Chinese Driver Hit Phnom Penh Road Workers After Midnight
Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: A Chinese man, suspected of being drunk, drove his car into a section of roadworks on the Russian Federation Bvd, seriously injuring two workers, shortly after midnight on May 8, 2023.
Before the incident, many workers were working on a section of the Russian Federation Bvd near the hospital, with warning signs and lights in place for traffic. Suddenly, a luxury car driven by a Chinese man arrived at the scene at high speed, oversteering, crashing into the works, and seriously injuring two male workers and damaging a paving machine. An ambulance rushed the two victims to a hospital.
The car driver and passengerswere immediately detained at the scene.
After the incident, representatives of both parties arrived at the scene and mediated, with the Chinese driver and his partners taking full responsibility for all medical expenses and material damage to end the incident.

This one just annoys me. I know that is how things are done here, but that is why it will never change. Drive drunk or too fast with never a worry in the world as you just pay your way out.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 2:07 pm After the incident, representatives of both parties arrived at the scene and mediated, with the Chinese driver and his partners taking full responsibility for all medical expenses and material damage to end the incident.
