Cambodia News (Oddar Meanchey) According to information on social media, in the early morning on 21 April 2023, at around 6am, the driver of a Range Rover drove off without paying after refuelling the car at a petrol station in Preah Net district, Oddar Meanchey .The owners of the petrol station then posted a message on social media, together with screen shots from the station CCTVs, calling for the driver of the Range Rover to come forward and pay for the petrol he took. They also contacted the police, and gave them the description and car license plate number.

Finally the provincial traffic police force intercepted the car, and discovered that it had been stolen. The driver, 33-year-old suspect, Tou Kim, from Phnom Penh, stole a Range Rover car (Phnom Penh 2B T-5818) from a garage in Phnom Penh and spray-painted it. He then drove from Phnom Penh, to Kampong Thom, to Siem Reap and to Oddar Meanchey province where he stopped for petrol and was subsequently caught by local police and taken into custody.

He could have gotten away with it for ages if he paid for his gas. What a jackass.
