This is Bomman and Bellie, the stars of the Oscar-winning documentary “The Elephant Whisperers”. They were seen holding the coveted trophy for the first time after the documentary, featuring their lives, created history at the Academy Awards this year. Director Kartiki Gonsalves shared this photo, saying that Bomman and Bellie were the first people to watch the documentary at a special screening organised by her. They live in a remote forest area and do not have access to television. The documentary won an Oscar in the Best Documentary Short Subject category on March 13.
