E-type (Ordinary) Visa now available online to all Nationalities

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

I assume you can still get the Ordinary visa on arrival? If visiting, I won't have any reason to get a letter of invitation.

I guess the win is, yes, save a page in the passport but also avoid queues at the airport.

Also handy for travellers from countries who either aren't eligible for the E-type VOA, or those from countries who are often discrimated and refused the E-type VOA.

Forgot to update this post, several weeks ago they actually changed the supporting documentation requirements, no longer mandatory to provide an official letter of invitation.

So basically anyone can apply online and get an "E-visa". My concern is i usually come in on a tourist visa. I can avoid potential issues If my stay is longer than 60 days-- I wouldn't have to make a visa run.
No need for patent tax documents or anything?

Thanks in advance @PSD-Kiwi You are such a valuable resource!

My firsthand report:

I just applied for this on Sunday and got my electronic E-type visa this morning. Lightening fast, I didn't really expect it before the Khmer New Year and was quite surprised.

As mentioned before, no supporting documents required, same as at the airport (all upload fields for supporting documents are optional).

BRILLIANT!

Updating, mandatory supporting documentation actually varies depending on Nationality, for most there is none, but certain Nationalities have to provide all sorts.
