Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A man was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room by an ambulance after he drove his motorbike head-on into a truck at high speed, at 9:30 pm on April 08, 2023, in Daun Penh District, Phnom Penh.

According to people at the scene, prior to the incident, a blue Korean pickup truck, with license plate Phnom Penh 2D-5487, was seen traveling from west to east at a moderate speed, when suddenly, a man riding a black Honda Dream 125 (with license plate number 1AF-6403), arrived from the opposite direction, from east to west, at high speed. The motorcyclist, who was speeding along on the wrong side of the road, hit the front bonnet and windscreen of the Korean car, causing him severe head injuries.


The passers-by contacted an ambulance to transport the motorcyclist to the emergency room immediately,and the car driver was detained at the scene.Then the local authorities arrived and contacted the traffic office to send someone to take the car and the motorbike for storage, while waiting for both parties to come and work together later.

Could of been a truck driver who forgot they were on a motorbike.
