Oh yeah! I remember finding this one soon after I found this forum! Totally true crime stuff. Maybe we should suggest this thread to Last Podcast on the Left. They've been running low on material lately.

I just read it again though. It's so over the top crazy it doesn't seem like it could be true. But in the immortal words of Bad Religion, "Sometimes truth is stranger than fictionnnnnnn."

This 41 page thread on some western tourists who were busted in Siem Reap for "pornographic dancing" is an epic saga, and despite the name, it's quite wholesome. (ie. No dead bodies) Also no photos on the first two pages unfortunately, so you will miss out on the photo of what is labeled as a "Naked Ginger". But it's a fun thread for all the family.
Starts here:
newsworthy/tourists-arrested-for-pornog ... 17988.html
I just finished this one. It was not on my radar, so thanks for the heads up.

What a wild ride. Looking back on my teens and twenties I could imagine doing something incredibly stupid like this.

Well, not really like THIS. But something stupid. Having traveled to places where cultural sensitivity is an important part of the experience, I can't imagine doing something like this in a place like Cambodia.

At least not the dirty dancing part. Private pool party? I could see doing that.

I enjoy reading these kind of threads because if you read past the subject matter itself, people posting give you a lot of information about what it is like to actually live in a place. How things ACTUALLY work on a practical level.

I have lived places where the news you read from abroad does not give an accurate picture of what it is like with boots on the ground. I remember one guy telling me one time about a place, "Here, nothing is a problem. Unless it becomes a problem. Then, it is a big problem."

Super interesting thread, and also super helpful. Much appreciated!

By the way, there is still a screen cap of poolside boobs deep in the thread. So no worries, I did get to see them.

I hope no one thinks I suck for posting individual replies in rapid succession. I do think everyone who takes time to share with me deserves to be thanked. But I'm also hoping to get enough posts so I can get access to the vetted forum area. I bet there's some wicked interesting stuff back there!

I found some more cool threads that I'll share later. I bookmarked a bunch, but I don't want to share anything that isn't top shelf. In the meantime, I hope you guys remember some more of your favorite CEO moments to share with me.

I'm a true crime junkie, I would love That Chapter to do this one!

Edited out the trolling.
This is not about Xxxxx, you've confused her with the other woman.

That's now two posts by you in two days that have needed to be quashed.

Quit the trolling.

Here is a quote from your very first post on this forum. Perhaps you can heed your own advice.

CEO was born in 2014.

Laurent Vallier cut off his own head, put it in the boot/trunk of his car then drove into the lake in 2012.
