Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A woman was arrested by the military police and sent to Kandal Provincial Court after she drugged a tuktuk driver, a 39-year-old man named Khin, and stole his tuktuk(PASS APP).

The woman, known as Nak Sokhon, 40, of Por Mieu village, Koki Thom commune, Kien Svay district, was arrested on March 19, 2023.
She told police that on the afternoon of March 11, 2023, she contacted the victim with a plan to steal his tuktuk. She suggested that they go for a drink togther, so they took the man's PassApp tutktuk to Takhmao City where they bought some beer and snacks, and parked on the roadside.

The two of them drank the beer, but the victim rapidly lost consciousness because the woman had slipped some sleeping pills into his drink. The woman dumped the man out of the tuktuk, and then with the help of another person, she took it to a pawn shop, where she got a $300 loan leaving the PassApp as collateral.


As for the unlucky owner of the PassApp, who was a naive victim of the scheming woman, after regaining consciousness the man stood up to walk away, but due to dizziness he collapsed on the road and was run over by a car. He was mortally wounded and died before he could be rescued.

Tuk tuk drivers nick name was lucky.
