Motorcyclist Victim of a Cord Across the Road Trap
Cambodia News (Svay Rieng): At 11:00 pm on 15 March 2023, a motorcyclist was injured after he drove into a wire cable that was strung across the road in Chuk village, Kandeang Reay commune, Svay Teap district, Svay Rieng province.
The cord caught the motorcyclist around the neck and he fell off the bike. He was injured, but not fatally wounded. However, police say that these traps with cords stretched across the road at neck level are often deadly for motorcyclists at night.

Re: Motorcyclist Victim of a Cord Across the Road Trap
Oh i've seen that shit going on in north Sumatra, and a coworker lost his brother, beheaded on a small road in central Java by a metal wire stretched to the max.
It's a cheap cowardly efficient way of murdering random people and grab quickly what isn't broken.
Since then, i stopped wandering on little roads at night, or at least i followed bigger vehicles with enough space to brake quickly. Nasty potholes can ruin the night too though.
Good that he's alive, lucky boy
