Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): Workers on a building site were rudely awoken at 1:20 am on March 10, 2023, on the 60-meter road in Chak Angre Leu commune, Khan Meanchey, when a Toyota Prius crashed into the construction site fence, injuring the 3 people who were in the vehicle.

According to witnesses, a Prius car, with license plate Phnom Penh 2BK 4535 , arrived at the accident scene at high speed, carrying a male driver and two passengers, traveling from north to south. For some reason the vehicle suddenly swerved to the left, hit a street light, and ricocheted into the iron fence of a construction site.

The car turned upside down on impact, badly injuring the driver. The two passengers were also slightly injured, but the workers living at the construction site woke up with the crash, and they came to help the three men out of the wrecked vehicle. The workers then called the police, who arranged for the driver to go to hospital for treatment, and the car to be towed away to the police station.
