Battambang Masseuse Robbed at Knife-Point
Cambodia News (Battambang): On the night of 8 March 2023, a 27-year-old masseuse was the victim of robbery with violence at O'Cha Village, Sangkat O'Cha, Battambang City.
According to the victim, on the night of the incident, she was not open for customers. The woman told police that a strange man riding a Zoomer motorcycle pulled up in front of the massage parlor, and knocked on the door asking for a massage. She opened the door to send the man away, but he stepped into her room, pulling out a knife. He stole her mobile phone and 75,000 riel before escaping on his motorbike.
Witnesses saw the attacker leaving the victim's house on the motorcycle after she cried for help. Police suspect that the robber is the same man who robbed two women at knife-point in the area last week. Battambang police have been alerted, and are confident that an arrest will be made because they have a good description of the robber.
