Indian Navy Coast Guard Ship on Sihanoukville Visit
Re: Indian Navy Coast Guard Ship on Sihanoukville Visit
How about a direct flight between PP and New Delhi and Mumbai twice a week rather than having to faff around in BKK, or KL or SIN for hours?kagi wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 3:13 pmCommemoration of 70 years of diplomatic relations between India and Cambodia.Doc67 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 10:22 am I often wonder what are the point of these visits. The UK was here a few weeks ago, now the Indians with their coast guard ship.
Cambodia is firmly in China's orbit, China and India are not friends, nor are the UK and China. Why do either think that showing up in an insignificant little tub, and posing for photos in glaring white uniforms, is anything but a complete waste of time and fuel? Cambodia has little to no geopolitical power or influence so why bother showing up?
Can anyone explain it?
The British ship circles the area stopping off occasionally here.
People are tired of the hub and spoke travel model, it is outdated. That's one of the reasons 747's and A380's production is ending. People want to go direct. An A320 or 737 could do this trip with ease.
At this time such a trip will take 8-12 hours and cost $550 and upwards, for what is a 4.5 hour flight. There are plenty of Indians with money, not just the Chinese, and they kidnap and shoot each other much less.

They’re clearly looking into the tourist side of things, what with potential Helicopter tours, rides on a giant frankfurter, and a village people Cabernet lineup.Doc67 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 8:08 amAre they joking? Do they mean the raw sewage being pumped out into the sea near the coast?CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 2:29 am
