So you believe that the "sorcerers" were in the wrong and deserved what they got? Or are you being facetious?Wod wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 1:45 pmWhat would possibly lead you to believe that they are lying? I have no reason to suspect that these villagers were lying, you can look at America today and see all sorts of wannabe black magic practitioners, just that these ones were Khmer and happened to be caughtGMJS-CEO wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 2:22 am Their appeals are based on the fact they had to defend themselves against sorcery. Wouldn’t it be better to claim they’ve been “educated” and were misled or mistaken in believing that the illnesses were black magic?
Judge won’t be releasing them when they still believe they were justified. What happens next time they get the flu in the outside?

Re: Suspected Sorcerer Killed by Angry Villagers
It’s been suggested that these people, ignorant by virtue of simply being badly educated, should use that as a defence. The victims (the dead one, to be clear) is a sorcerer by pretty much the same mechanism. This is just desserts.
One human, admittedly having pretty low morals, taking advantage of another human, having pretty poor thinking skills. Red mist might have many of us with vengeance, once in a while, but I don’t see vigilantism being a good idea overall.
Re: Suspected Sorcerer Killed by Angry Villagers
So in your own words, wannabe, not actual, meaning you condone the vigilante killings of these innocent individuals. I was going to write something about certain villagers being fucking stupid but then Wod caught my attention.
My dad was right, doesn't matter how good you are at something (being stupid) there is always someone better than you (Wod).
Thanks and carry on!
