Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On 24 February 2023, the Anti-Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection Department of the National Police raided massage parlor "456", located along Street 271 in Sangkat Chak Angre Leu, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh. One woman was arrested for running the business, and four female sex workers were released. Used and unused condoms were seized as evidence.

According to the authorities, before the raid they received a tipoff from local people saying that the massage parlor 456 was illicitly providing sexual services to customers.
So, on the night of February 24, 2023, the force of the Anti-Department Trafficking in persons and protection of minors of the National Police and in cooperation with local authorities conducted a crackdown at the above address in Meanchey district.


After the incident, the four women who were liberated were sent to the Department of Social Affairs. The massage parlor has been temporarily closed and the mamasan will appear before the Phnom Penh Municipal Court on charges of organized prostitution.
