Cambodia News (Kampong Speu): On Saturday, 25 February 2023, the National Police General Commission reported a case where an 83-year-old man accidentally drove a Land Cruiser, (Phnom Penh 2Q-8555), right through the SreyMom restaurant, located at Krabei Tram village, in Kampong Speu province.

According to the authorities, a 2011 Land Cruiser (Phnom Penh 2Q-8555), was being driven by 83 years old Try Phi, from Chrolong Village, when, for some unknown reason, he turned off the road and drove directly into Srey Mom restaurant, which is owned by a 35 year old lady named Srey Mom.
The restaurant was busy when the car crashed into the room, and two customers were slightly injured while sitting there eating: a 5 year old boy and 45 year old Sek Sam Oeun who are both from O Bek Kam village, Phnom Penh.


The 83-year-old driver is reported to have left the restaurant shortly after the crash, but his representative came to the scene to negotiate on his behalf with Srey Mom and the two injured parties.
