The immigrants from Ukraine consist of a completely different demographic to the normal "immigrant"
Ukrainian immigrants are predominantly women and children. The men who are able to fight the Russians have stayed.
Now, there is a conversation regarding immigration and those who are "fleeing" war in their homeland... you know.. like in Ukraine and why there are so many young men and few women and children among those immigrants.

As I have previously mentioned in a post on this thread, Poland is welcoming many thousands of Ukrainian refugees simply because they are women and children and they are doing this to bolster their demographic pyramid (see my earlier post)

You might think it's helpful to conflate a temporary solution for Ukrainian refugees in 2022 with some incendiary nonsense about 150 Somalian refugees taking over a public facility. While we are at it, Ireland gets an average of 150-300 applications for refugee status by Somalians every year, and only a fraction are accepted. The idea that 150 were at one center is absurd. You should think before you post debunked stories about places you have no understanding of. Patty.
