KTV Fire Catches Staff Unawares
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A fire broke out inside the Honey City KTV restaurant along National Road 3 in Prey Pring Tbong 2 Village, Sangkat Choam Chao III, Po Sen Chey district at 12:25 pm on February 23, 2023, causing alarm as the flames spread.
According to sources at the scene, at the time the blaze started the restaurant was empty of customers and only the staff on duty were present. However, the fire caught and spread very quickly because of the thatched roofing, which took the staff by surprise, and their efforts to extinguish the flames were unsuccessful.
When they saw that they could not control the fire, the KTV staff urgently called the 70th Brigade, who sent a fire truck to intervene to prevent the fire from spreading even more.
In the end, the outbreak damaged five thatched huts, but fortunately no one was injured.

That’s some good fire safety training- Have a go. If unsuccessful, then call the fire service.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 5:15 pm the fire caught and spread very quickly because of the thatched roofing, which took the staff by surprise, and their efforts to extinguish the flames were unsuccessful.
