Taxis at PP airport

Taxis at PP airport

Does anyone know when the taxis at the airport go home?

I am arriving at 00.50 and there is only one flight after me.

Are they there until the bitter end or is it a Grab time?

Haven't taken one of those rip-off rides in 11 years. There will be Grabs available, Half the price of the others. $7.50 compared to $15.

Yeah, I know, but when I walk out I just want to get going. Faffing about finding the Grab and dodging the chancers is worth paying. Especially given what I am about to go through getting back to PP.

Probably an hour after the last flight lands. I've landed at 11 twice and there were still a bunch of tuk tuks and taxis.

PassApp to city center ( st.148 and st.19) $5.50 and no traffic at that time.

If you mean a PassApp Indian tuktuk, then a good chance of getting T-boned by a speeding SUV driver on Russian Blvd at that time of night. I'd pay the $2 extra for a car.

Up to you. IME there is always a Grab car within the airport grounds or just outside.
I do admit I take a sadisitic pleasure in seeing the rip-off airport taxi guys get disrupted.

Late evening/night departures and arrivals, I’ve just used grab cars.

A few are off duty police, subsidising the nice family car that’s otherwise outside their income range.
