We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. Cambodia News, (Pursat Province): On the afternoon of February 17th, a 32-year-old man named Chay Keasy, a resident of Krapeu 2 Krom village, in Veal Veng District, Pursat province, reported to police that he had lost a white cow, which he had left tied up to eat the grass behind the house of Men Phalla, a 50 year old man living in the same village.

Mr. Inspector of Veal Veng District Police Inspectorate said after receiving information from a village resident that his cow was missing,
on 18 February 2023 he sent the local branch of the Inspectorate Force and Administrative Police to conduct a search for the missing animal.
Then, during the search of a shed at the property of Mr Phalla, the officers noticed the head of a white cow lying on the ground close to a cow's dead body.
