Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 12:00 am on February 13, 2023, on St. 271, in Phnom Penh, a Camry car, (PNH 2AB-0725), driven by an unidentified man crashed directly into a roadside stall advertising Anchor Beer.

The stall, which is used during the daytime by a roadside mechanic, was completely demolished by the impact of the vehicle, which was being driven at high speed along Street 271 by a man who appeared to be in an advanced state of inebriety. The man then lost control of his Camry car, which insisted on veering off the road and on to the sidewalk on the right hand side, heading directly for the welcoming sign of an Anchor Beer stand.

Fortunately, except for the beer sign and the Anchor shade umbrella which were slightly demolished when the driver forgot to use the brakes, there was nobody injured in the drink and drive through incident. The driver himself left his Camry sitting pretty among the ruins of the Anchor beer stall, and went home before the police arrived.

The car was later towed away to the police station, waiting for the owner to come looking for his vehicle the next day. After he arrived at his workplace the next morning, the roadside mechanic also went along to the police station to wait for the driver.
