The police seized a motorcycle, Honda C125, Series 2020, with license plate Svay Rieng 1O-3022, belonging to the accused, and a black handbag, containing I phone XR, $ 100 cash, and a Swiss identity card, which was returned to the woman.

Sources from the police said that the Swiss woman and her husband had been out to eat at a Toul Kork restaurant and were walking back to their hotel, when they were victims of a bagsnatching at the corner of streets 215 and 134.
Two youths drove up behind the couple on a Honda motorbike, and the accomplice snatched the woman's handbag. The Swiss tourists then shouted "Help! Thieves!" to alert the population. A local police patrol was near the crime scene, and they heard the cries, so they intercepted the thieves on the motorcycle.

The driver was arrested and taken into custody, while the accomplice made his escape. However, the police have the identity of the runaway bag-snatcher, and he will also be arrested and charged with aggravated theft.
