Drunken Prius Stopped by Shophouse

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): Around midnight on January 20, 2023, in Tropang Thleung 2 village, Sangkat Choam Chao 1, Khan Por Senchey, a Toyota Prius car (plate number PNH 2BQ-0167) smashed into the front of a shophouse and came off the worse for wear.

Police say that the driver of the Prius was probably drunk, but since he fled the accident scene before the police arrived, they cannot say for sure. However, it is surprising that the driver was not badly injured, because the car was traveling at high speed when it crashed into the building and flipped over, and fortunately nobody else was harmed in the accident.

The damaged car was taken to the police station for further proceedings, waiting for the driver to come and claim his vehicle (and for him to pay for the damage caused by his careless driving.)
