Factory Truck with 65 Workers Crashes and Overturns
Cambodia News (Kompong Speu Province): On January 10, 2023, at 6:20 pm on National Road 51, in Udong district, a truck which was transporting 65 factory workers home from work, crashed and left the road, after the driver failed to overtake a trailer truck. The vehicle went down an embankment and overturned on its side, injuring some of the passengers.
The cause of the accident was speeding, careless driving, and dangerous overtaking. Out of the 65 workers standing on the back of the truck, six of them were badly injured and were taken to the hospital.
The two vehicles were taken to the police station for further proceedings.

Given the mode in which they’re accommodated, it’s a bit of a stretch to list the workers as passengers. Cargo, freight, livestock might be more appropriate.

Re: Factory Truck with 65 Workers Crashes and Overturns
I'm surprised that only a few were injured. Sixty-five people jammed into one of those trucks rolling down an embankment could have resulted in major carnage.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
