Svay Rieng Driver Fatally Clashes with Road Divider
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 10:00 pm on January 1, 2023, on National Road 5, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh, a 65-year-old man, Khlang Thorn, from Svay Rieng province was killed after he crashed his CRV (PNH 2E-1251) into a street divider.
The victim died instantly after the impact due to speeding which caused him to lose control of the car. Some good samaritans tried to rescue the victim from the wreck, but it was too late.
The police towed the car away for further proceedings, and the body of the driver was examined and given over to the family for the funeral rites.

Another crash where the photo doesn’t entirely explain the outcome.
The car has clearly hit the divider fairly straight on. But the damage doesn’t look that catastrophic. Yes, it’s concertinaed somewhat. The airbag has gone off. But it doesn’t look like a huge amount of speed, or energy. 30mph or less?
Quite likely he wasn’t wearing a seat belt, though.

What I am thinking, but the window still seems to be in place. But yes, very likely he did not wear a seatbelt.Freightdog wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 9:39 am Another crash where the photo doesn’t entirely explain the outcome.
