I just opened the evisa page for a tourist visa and there’s a drop down box to add health insurance certificate. I wasn’t aware that health insurance is required. Is health insurance now necessary for a tourist visa
That field was created for earlier when Covid insurance was a mandatory entry requirement, however that requirement was lifted several months ago. You will notice that there is no red asterisk (*) next to the insurance field, therefore it is not mandatory to complete, only the fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory, as clearly explained on the e-Visa website.
