Those Living Cheaply Under a Grand

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

MY first foray into Cambodia was in 1987 and entailed walking across the border near my home in Bo Rai for 2 days with Khmer rouge escorts to the gem mines south of Pailin.
WE would stay for 4-5 days and than walk back out.
KR took 50% of our finds but we still made a shit load of $$$$
Saw your TV series on Discovery recently, glad you made it out of that minefield rice paddy and back into the mine-free jungle. :D JK, sounds like a good yarn.
I can't see you giving up half. What about the stones in your arse?

I am not sure which side of the fence I sit on this one BUT, I am glad to be able to sit on a fence and watch this discussion unfold. There was a time and place, that after the fist line or two the other poster would have just simply become one of the 'Disappeared'

We will all disagree, from time to time. Sometimes on trivia and other times on very important issues, like this one but it is how we resolve those issues that really matters

Thanks to all involved

Onward ever onward

Oops, it's set to HE now, since many of us are used to that already.

Anyways, I remember when we set this up.

I take the blame. It was done hastily and was before anyone was even posting.

I'm new to phpbb and was just testing it out. We were very busy and setting it to something more professional and courteous.

Again, my bad, but it was right when I was first The Dragon allowed me to have a glimpse behind the curtains....

I'll go through and edit this thread manually if everyone wants, in order to get rid of the whole "HE" bullshit. I probably should anyways...

I am leaving this post intact so that everyone will know what is causing joke for a poke's pucker factor.
Again, as explained, it's a system setting. We can't say "this one's ok, that one's not" with it. so while you in no way expose us allowing the use of that name, in general, does. it exposes us to anything anyone ELSE posts with that name.
