I have a very old phone (Samsung), and a metfone card inside.

I can receive phone calls, but not dial out "Service not available".

when trying to change some settings, I get the message "Check your WAP profile".

Does anyone know of a good knowledgeable phone shop in PP ?

I asked in the one I bought the phone card, which was NOT activated in that phone, but they don't know what could be wrong.
The card would work (outbound call) in another phone they checked with.

to-do's:

- setting up outbound-calls
- setting up internet connection (wap profile?)

is there any chance of changing settings, if i dont have password/pin etc. anymore ?

outbound sms did work - to metfone.
browsing works now, at least for some sites e.g. Hotmail
but still no outgoing phone calls. "service not available".

the cheap phones there are between 30 and 50$ and don't even have a cam.

Best to spend at least $500 or more on a phone if you need one with a camera to take selfies. I speak from experience here.

it works now.
don't really know why. for one week until 2 minutes earlier it didn't.
