Cambodia News, ( Kampong Chhnang): At 5:30 in the morning on December 21, 2022, a suspect rode a motorbike to Dai Kan Cafe, where he attacked an old man who was sitting drinking coffee, with a cane cutting machete, cutting the man in the arm, before chasing him with the weapon.

Witnesses at the scene said that before the incident, the suspect was riding a motorcycle with a machete in his hand, when he arrived at the coffee shop and he began to shout loudly while waving the machete, before walking inside to attack the coffee drinker. The old man was hacked on his arm and needed medical treatment. The victim of the attack is named as Ngin Chuor, male, 78 years old, living in Phum Phsar Leu, Sangkat Phsar Chhnang, Kampong Chhnang Province.


The suspect who insulted the people who came to drink coffee at dawn and caused the above surprise is a motordop (a motorbike taxi driver), named Chin Bora, alias Sros, male, 39 years old, living in Phsar Chhnang Village, Sangkat Phsar Chhnang, Kampong Chhnang Province.
The reason for this violent outbreak is not known, but according to local people, the suspect is mentally retarded and a drug addict. The police came to disarm the man and take him into custody.
