Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A drunk Chinese man, driving a PORSCHE Cayenne car at high speed, rear-ended a Toyota Prius, which had stopped at traffic lights, and then went on to hit a motorcycle, dragging it against a fence, at 1 am on December 21, 2022. The accident occurred at the Golden Horse traffic lights, in Stung Meanchey III, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.

The Prius car owner said that she was traveling with another woman from Chroy Changva, and they had stopped at the traffic lights when suddenly a white PORSCHE, with license plate Phnom Penh 2AX-0299, driven by a drunk Chinese man, hit her car from behind. The Prius was pushed forward with the force of the impact and the rear of the car was severely damaged.


The Porsche then went on to hit a man on a Honda Dream motorcycle, who had also stopped at the intersection. The man escaped unharmed, but the Porsche dragged the bike some meters along the road, finally crushing it against a metal gate.


Surprisingly, despite the extensive damage to the vehicles, the accident victims were only shocked and lightly injured. Sangkat Stung Meanchey III police arrived at the scene and arrested the Chinese man, but later a settlement was agreed on by the three parties.
