Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration Identifies Chinese Woman Involved in Insecurity Case

Cambodia News, Preah Sihanouk Province: According to a source from the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Administration on Sunday morning, December 11, 2022, a 26-year-old Chinese woman is being sought by police.
The spokesperson said: "Please inform the public that the suspect, DU LEI, female, Chinese, born on August 18, 1996, holding a valid Chinese passport issued in November 13, 2020, was involved in a case of insecurity in Sihanoukville."

The provincial administration would like to appeal to all members of the public in case they find the above Chinese women, please cooperate and provide information to the competent authorities of Sihanoukville Provincial Police or the nearest authorities to take legal action.

Please be informed that the authorities will keep it a secret and thank you in advance for your cooperation in maintaining security and public order in our province of Sihanoukville. Thank you.

Speculation : Since the OP news item gives no details of a specific crime supposedly committed by the wanted woman, I'm wondering whether it is the Cambodian police who want to detain her ... or whether this alert is being communicated on behalf of the Chinese police to hunt down the woman as a "social misfit".
