Broke Duck Egg Driver Has No Money for Accident Comp

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On the afternoon of 9 December 2022, a traffic accident occurred when a motor cart carrying a load of duck eggs hit the back of a Starex van, causing the rear window to shatter along Street 217. In Sangkat Dangkor, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh.

Before the incident a motor cart carrying a duck egg was seen being driven by a man traveling along Street 217, when the driver lost control of his vehicle, (no brakes or poor braking system), and rammed into the back of a Starex van, causing damage to the car, but no one was injured in the incident.

The Starex driver demanded the duck egg deliverer take his car to be repaired and replace the broken windshield. The motor cart driver said he had no money and called his boss to help pay the damages, but his boss also replied saying that they have no money to pay.
No solution is found yet as the police were not present to intervene. This is just preliminary information.
