Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): Local people are complaining that suspected internet gambling is being carried out on Banteay Street in Chroy Bassac Village, Sangkat Prek Pra, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh. According to residents, the gambling operations are running smoothly without any interference from the authorities or local authority.
On 5 December 2022, residents said that many gambling addicts congregate openly at the above gambling site daily, without any interference from police. In fact, it seems that there are guards at the entry to prevent outsiders from entering the premises.

Residents urge Chbar Ampov district governor Cheng Monira and Chbar Ampov district police chief Mao Soeuth to crack down on online gambling sites on Banteay Road before it causes serious social problems such as: theft, robbery, drug problems, especially domestic violence due to gambling losses.

In relation to this gambling place, people suspect that the owner of this online gambling place may be paying a monthly fee to the relevant authorities to turn a blind eye, in violation of the strict orders of Prime Minister HE.

It should be noted that on 17 September 2022, the Prime Minister issued a very strict order for all competent officials in the capital, provinces, municipalities, districts and villages throughout the country to take repressive measures on all types of gambling in a timely fashion. He stressed that he would not hesitate to remove any provincial governor, district governor, district governor or any police officer found to not have discharged his or her duties in this regard.

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): According to the report today from local people in Sangkat Prek Pra, Khan Chbar Ampov, the Ti-Ti cafe is a popular online illegal gambling place where punters can bet on cock-fights.

The cafe is situated at Street 369 in Sangkat Prek Pra, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh, and according to the same source, the online cockfighting gambling venue in the above shop has been open for a long time and is open every day on the riverside.

Even though everybody knows that there is gambling in this cafe, no relevant police forces have come to inspect the premises or check for any gambling activities that may be taking place inside. The public believe that this may be because the local authority receive money from the owner of the Ti Ti Cafe in exchange for non-interference in his gambling operations.
