People at the scene said the suspects threatened a Chinese man with a knife. Police from Bit Trang commune police station went down to the plantation to search for the two suspects, both teenage boys, and finally officers arrested 3 suspects, while another hid a motorcycle and ran into the forest to escape. Two motorcycles without license plates and some weapons were confiscated from the suspects by police.

On the morning of November 26, 22 at 7:30am, our forces detained another suspect named Ken Kim, male, 21 years old, unspecified occupation, residing in Koki Village, Bit Trang Commune, Prey Nob District, Preah Sihanouk Province.
