Re: Ugandan Busted at Phnom Penh Airport Carrying 2Kgs of Meth
Holy shit, that's one seriously complex route, especially considering current travel restrictions. Maybe the Uganda leg was just to legitimize the trip and the consignment was supposed to go to Dubai?CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 11:50 pm .....the suspect was smuggling the drugs from Cambodia to the Republic of Korea, and then from Korea to Dubai in United Arab Emirates, and on to Uganda.
.....
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Re: Ugandan Busted at Phnom Penh Airport Carrying 2Kgs of Meth
CEO News corrections:
- Note that the article here says " 1922.92 grams of cocaine", whereas the previous news items said that the packages of drugs were methamphetamine.
- A later news item in the Khmer Times says that the Ugandan man was busted at PIA on arrival from Brazil, (which would make sense if he was found with cocaine. He is not the first drug mule on that route to be busted with cocaine in Cambodia).
