Coffee Machines
Have always drank instant coffee for quickness and ease of making it, but if one was to start making and drinking coffee using coffee beans and a machine , what are your recommendations, What brand of machine are you using ?
Re: Coffee Machines
Before you splash out on an all-singing-all-dancing machine, why not try a cheap coffee press 'machine'.
Just buy the ground coffee and see if you can be bothered with the hassle of waiting for it to brew, and buying fresh ground coffee all the time, the extra cost of it and whether it is all worth the effort.

Re: Coffee Machines
I use a Bialetti - put it on a burner - one and done.

For my Bean I use Lavazza
It does not get better than this. Ever.
As for cost - my coffee costs me about 8% of coffee shop and that’s with real heavy cream - way better at home.

I prefer bean to cup machinesTootsfriend wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 2:01 pm Have always drank instant coffee for quickness and ease of making it, but if one was to start making and drinking coffee using coffee beans and a machine , what are your recommendations, What brand of machine are you using ?
Just fill the top with your favourite unground beans and select what sort of coffee you want at any given moment
While entry level is relatively expensive at around $350-400 it pays for itself by the time you have your 100th cup compared to medium level coffeeshop prices

Also use the sock one if making a bigger batch for ice coffee, Cambodian style (I find it often over extracts and goes more bitter, which is actually good with the sweet milk)
Re: Coffee Machines
Depends on your budget, and you’ll want a good burr grinder too
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

Re: Coffee Machines
I use local grinded beans out of Rattanakiri, and have to say the kick is just vicious.. at $4.50 for 500gr.
