7 Members of Takeo Wire and Cable Thief Gang Arrested

Cambodia News,(Takeo province): On 17 November 2022, Takeo Provincial Governor HE Ouch Phea ordered the Royal Gendarmerie and the police to crack down on a gang of thieves operating in the villages and communes of the province.
As a result, the Provincial Gendarmerie arrested 7 thieves who were active in breaking into houses, stealing telephones, and other electrical wires in people's homes. The seven thieves arrested were :
1) 24 years old So Sokchea;
2) 27 years old Bun Reasey;
3) 21 years old Him Phorn;
4) 24 years old Sok Tha;
5) 41 years old Chheang Bunroeun;
6) 21 years old Yeng Bonna;
7) 27 years old Chao Phi;
All seven live in Daun Keo city, Takeo province.
After the arrests, the suspects were ordered to show where their stolen goods were sold: they include a shop in Thnal Bek Village, Sangkat Roka Krao owned by 41 years old Keo Saly; in Snor Village, Sangkat Roka Krao owned by 52-year-old Sam Si, and the third location is a shop in Lori Village, Sangkat Roka Krao owned by 59-year-old Yi Phosny, alias Yeay Mao.

It should also be noted that the seven suspects, along with exhibits and the owners of the three locations, have been referred to the Provincial Court by the Takeo Provincial Gendarmerie on the morning of 17 November 2022. Many people congratulated the Takeo Provincial Gendarmerie for putting a stop to the gang of thieves.
