Cambodia News(Pursat): Another horrific traffic accident happened on 8 November 2022, during the Water Festival holidays, resulting in the death of a female doctor, in Anlong Reap, Veal Veng district, Pursat province.

According to the Veal Veng District Police Inspector, the accident happened when a silver Highlander (Phnom Penh 2AE-4776) crashed into the back of a motorcycle carrying a couple and a small child traveling in the same direction while crossing a bridge on National Road 55. It seems that the car driver subsequently panicked, lost control of the vehicle, and drove off the bridge.

In this accident, one person was killed while eight others were injured, some seriously and others light. All were taken to the emergency room at Pramoy Commune Health Centre.
Veal Veng District Police said that the motorcycle victims who were injured (but still alive) in the accident, were a couple and their child:
1. 33 years old Chen Bei;
2 - 24 years old, farmer Mao Chea
3) a 3 years old girl named Wutty.
All three were from Po village, Prey Khpos commune, Bavel district, Battambang province, and they were not wearing helmets.

There were 6 people in the Highlander: a 52 year old woman doctor named Yean Lim Chheng who died on arrival at the hospital, the driver who was severely injured, and four other passengers who were lightly injured and are expected to recover.
Both the motorcycle and the car were taken to the Anlong Reap Administrative Police Station temporarily to deal with legal procedures.

Seems to be a few moto accidentally being hit from behind lately, keep an eye on your mirrors, though not sure how much you can do when being run over from behind.
I'm standing up, so I must be straight.
