Police confirmed that on November 7, 2022 at 17:20, the victim, Sar Saban, female, was selling beer at house D9, Concrete Road, Borey Choeun Sarin, in Tram Dok Village, in Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh, when the suspect, Nuon Sophat, alias Phat, 30, bought 12 cans of ABC beer to drink at the house of his friend, Nuon Chantha, alias Cheda, 32, just across the road. There were four men drinking . Phat didn't have money to pay for the beer, so he asked Sar Saban to make a bill to pay later.

Then, at 22:40 on the same day, the suspect, Nuon Sophat, alias Phat, went to get some more beer, and when the victim asked the suspect to pay for the beer that he took earlier, the suspect shouted at the victim, "I have never owed you any money."

The suspect fired off one shot, and then ran out of the beer seller's house with a K59 pistol No. 3457, and an accomplice of the suspect, Pat Rattanak, seized the K59 handgun and hid it in the forest at a distance of 100 meters from the scene.
After that, the police arrived at the scene and a group of suspects ran away, leaving behind a navy blue PCX motorcycle with license plate Phnom Penh 1HI-3586, which was seized by police.

On November 08, 2022, at 12:30, the police caught up with two of the suspects and placed them under arrest; the first one was named Sat Sopheap, the second one was named Pheap Rattanak, both from Sangkat Prey Sar, Khan Dangkor. Phnom Penh.
