I have the expat angkor wat pass, do you just turn up at the site, or do you have to go to the office for a pass?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. I have the free ticket for expats and my gf and her khmer son will be visiting angkor wat with me in a couple of weeks time, do we just turn up for entry, or do we have to go to the ticket office to get tickets? Any info greatly appreciated.

Just go up the road and show them your pass everywhere they ask. No need to revisit the ticket office... the pass is meant to be shown, like a library card ...

You can even just have a photo on your phone of the pass. I have visited many times by just showing this.

I got the pass online, it was emailed to me. Got it printed out and laminated, about the size of a credit card. when I visit a temple now I just whip it out, does the trick.

On the day, go to the office first, and ask.

If they say that it is not necessary to go to the office, don't.
