Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A BMW luxury car, known as the car of Monica, a well-known online cosmetic seller on social media, met with a speeding accident, after the driver drove through red traffic lights and disobeyed traffic rules at 12 midnight on November 2, 2022, along the corner of Mao Tse Toung Street and Street 182, at the Tep Phorn traffic light in Sangkat Toek Laak III, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh.


Sources at the scene said that a silver Highlander with license plate Phnom Penh 2AJ-1503, driven by a man traveling along Route 182 turned left at the Tep Phorn traffic light, when one of the most well-known online saleswomen on social media came driving along Mao Tse Tung Road in her BMW at high speed, violating traffic lights and disobeying traffic rules.
The Highlander took a hit on the left rear wheelbase, causing damage to the rear bumper, while the BMW had severe frontal damage. Fortunately neither driver had any significant injuries.

The female BMW driver, known as Monica, got into a tuktuk and left the scene before the local authorities arrived. They contacted traffic police to come down to check and make a record of the accident, and to take the two vehicles away for storage until the drivers have agreed on compensation payments.

It would stop all the absconding drunk drivers overnight. They could give the car to the poor sod who they just ploughed into.

It seems that all sorts from truck drivers to Rolls owners do runners.

yeah, fair enough, the truck drivers always do a runner too, maybe that's in their employment contracts.
