Travel to the Islands

Has anyone been recently?
Same, same departure point for the ferries - Ochheutal Pier?
Do the share taxis from PP use the new highway?
Has anyone ever used the supply boat to the islands?

I was thinking about a trip to Koh Rong but was wondering if there is anybody there, are there any restaurants and bars still operating? There are few tourists around, so not sure if they have rebounded after covid or have slowly gone broke.

I went to Sok San resort in January 2021 and the hitherto buzzing village was a ghost town. There was one restaurant open, we were the only people there and became part of the family for 4 days. It was ok, but I wouldn't go back on that basis.

It's a long way to go to find everything has remained closed.
