Cambodia News (Battambang): On 27 October 2022, the National Police General Commission reported three arrests in a case of aggravated theft (breaking down the door of a house and taking a motorbike) at 10:30am, in Battambang province. The Thmar Koul District Police Inspectorate received a complaint of the incident from the victim, a 73-year-old woman named Kang Sovann on 25 October.

On the same day, Commissioner of Battambang Provincial Police led the Thmor Koul District Police Inspectorate to investigate and arrest 3 suspects:
1. 20 years old Rath Davan, from Buor commune, Phnom Preuk district, Battambang province (wanted by police)
2. 21 years old Thira Chen, living in Poi Yong village, Tapoung commune, Thmor Kol district, Battambang province
3. 25-year-old Sin Roth, from Chke Koun village, Kork Khmum commune, Thmor Kol district, Battambang province
Rath Davan was already the subject of arrest warrant No. 415, dated 14 June 2022, issued by Mr. Leng Vannarithy, President of the Trial Chamber of Battambang Provincial Court. He was charged with aggravated robbery at Boeung Snoul, Ampil Pram Deum commune, Bor Vel district, Battambang province on 2 July 2021.

Authorities brought all three suspects to the district police station for questioning and a case is being built to send to court.
