Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): According to the Phnom Penh Municipal Police, three suspects involved in a case of the illegal trafficking of nearly 4 kilograms of drugs were arrested by the joint forces of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police on the 19 October 2022. At 22:15, Chamkar Mon District Police Inspectorate stopped a man suspected of illegal drug trafficking while patrolling at Kong Hong, Lum Road, Khan Chamkar Morn.
Suspect's name is Mon Bunneang, alias Pek, male, 36 years old, residence is not real, no occupation.

Then, on October 21, 2022, at 13:15, the Anti-Drug Bureau forces arrested a suspect named Nuth Keo Savara, male, 32 years old, Khmer nationality. After the confession of this suspect, on October 23, 2022, the specialized forces continued to search and detain another suspect, a male Khmer, at the point of the concrete road, Prakar village, Prey Sor commune, Dangkor district.

Exhibits confiscated: 10,617 drugs, 9 packs of red horse (4,000 pink ecstasy (MDMA), light green ecstasy (MDMA) 6,617 tablets, 9 packs of red horseradish (MDMA), 112.15g of ecstasy (MDMA), navy blue powder, 218.75g of methamphetamine (Ice), scales for weighing 1 unit, 1 car, and 1 motorcycle.

Currently, the suspect and the above exhibits are being processed by the specialized force and sent to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court for further legal proceedings.
