A friend of mine stayed there once for a week. The room was upgraded to a suite and he said it was bigger than his house in England! The place was almost deserted and it's a bit out of the way, but I think they do a shuttle service for free or very cheap which will drop and collect you from downtown.
They've combined the golf club with the hotel which makes it completely lacking any atmosphere.
A dedicated golfers' terrace bar overlooking the course for a couple of cold ones after the game would be a massive improvement.

Ha Ha, the caddies all dress like ninja assassins. I assume it's so they avoid getting too brown.Eeyan wrote: βWed Feb 23, 2022 2:19 pmIt was deserted.Doc67 wrote: βWed Feb 23, 2022 1:58 pm

Re: GOLF?
I'd be up for a 9 hole in jan/ Feb
I'd doubt I'd make 18 if the sun was out...
Ain't played for long time so would be rusty....
But any excuse for a few beers and a laugh

Re: GOLF?
Go to City Golf, it's a short 9-hole par 3 course full of water, sand and misery. There is a driving range that you can use as part of the package so you can warm up or, if it goes badly, cool-off from the whole idea.Londonmail wrote: βWed Oct 19, 2022 11:07 pm I'd be up for a 9 hole in jan/ Feb

A perfect place to rekindle your love of golf and remember why you gave it up.

Re: GOLF?
Thanks
I played alot before my mate took a year off work and I worked nights so we played 2 a week but that was years ago...
Over the years have said I would get a round in in cambodia but it never happened... lol had some fun planning it tho... I think it always been the celebrating drinks the night before always put the kibosh on the round.

Re: GOLF?
I have played one 18 hole round here. It was the most unpleasant 5 hours (yes, 5) I have spent on a course. The heat and the humidity ruins it. Never, ever, again.Londonmail wrote: βThu Oct 20, 2022 6:14 pm Thanks
