Supreme Court denies Appeal of Chinese Casino Counterfeit Currency Convict
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On the morning of October 17, 2022, the sentence appeal of DONG MAN, a 30-year-old Chinese convict, was denied by Nil Nonn, the presiding judge of Phnom Penh's Supreme Court. The Chinese national was sentenced by the Phnom Penh Municipal Court on August 13, 2020 to seven years in prison on charges of "imposing currency and counterfeit currency" under Article 647 of the Penal Code.
The Chinese prisoner was first arrested on October 24, 2019 at the NAGA WORLD II Hotel in Phnom Penh in connection with the circulation of counterfeit currency.
After the arrest, the police said that they confiscated 600,000 counterfeit US dollars (ghost money) that the frauder was preparing to palm off while gambling at Nagaworld casino.

So he got 7 years for trying to buy gambling chips with 'ghost' money at Nagaworld casino.
That seems pretty rough to me. I mean.. try to go to a shop and give them ghost money and the cashier won't accept and just give it back to you..
